Knitted with 100% pure wool and combined with natural and synthetic fancy yarns, Bev Beattie’s creations are both stylish and sturdy. The bags are mainly knitted on circular and double-pointed knitting needles so that there are barely any joins and very little sewing to be done. Once felted, the seams virtually disappear, leaving you with a highly professional finish. Knitting and felting is very forgiving: you do not have to be an expert to get expert results as dropped stitches disappear like magic. As a result, these patterns are ideal for beginners and for the more experienced knitter alike. Once felted, the bags can be further embellished with buttons, beads, weaving, needle-felting, embroidery and other knitted adornments. The only limit is your imagination!
